Why remove EXIF from iPhone photos?

iPhone photos contain EXIF metadata — GPS coordinates, device model, timestamps, and more. When you post photos online or send them to buyers, that hidden data can reveal where and when the image was taken.

Removing EXIF before sharing is a simple privacy step, especially for marketplace sellers, photographers, and anyone posting on social media.

Remove EXIF without uploading to a server

Many online tools upload your photos to a cloud server. A browser-based EXIF remover processes files locally — your images never leave your device.

Open the tool, select your iPhone photo (exported as JPG or HEIC converted to JPG), and download the cleaned file.

Also convert HEIC first if needed

iPhone default format is HEIC. If your EXIF tool accepts JPG/PNG only, convert HEIC to JPG first, then strip metadata from the result.
